أصدر حزب العمال التونسي بيانا سياسيا مؤيدا وداعما للثورة السودانية في ديسمبر 2018م، قال فيه ان الاوضاع في السودان تشهد "منعرجا هاما بحكم إصرار الجماهير على مواصلة الانتفاضة الشعبية"، حتى إسقاط نظام الطاغية عمر حسن البشير (Omar al Bashir)، وأضاف البيان السياسي ان النظام السوداني العسكري الديني (Military Religious Regime)، الذي يقوده ما يُسمي بحزب المؤتمر الوطني (National Congress Party) يواجه تحركات الشارع بالحديد والنار من خلال محاولات المغالطة والالتفاف حول الثورة.

وأوضح البيان السياسي ان حزب العمال التونسي يتابع بانتباه شديد تطوّر الأوضاع في السودان الشقيق، وانه "يجدد مساندته الكاملة لانتفاضة الشعب السوداني ضد نظام العمالة و الاستبداد والفساد"، و"يدين سياسة القمع والتقتيل، التي يواجه بها النظام العسكري الظلامي، انتفاضة شعبية سلمية، بما نزع عن هذا النظام، أي مشروعية لمواصلة حكم البلاد، التي ظل يغتصب حكمها منذ انقلابه العسكري سنة 1989م.

وأكد حزب العمال التونسي مساندته المطلقة لكل القوى السياسية والنقابية والمدنية التقدمية والديمقراطية، وفي مقدمتها الحزب الشيوعي السوداني، الذي يقبع عدد هام من قادته ومناضلاته و مناضليه في المعتقلات السرية، حيث يتعرضون للتعذيب على خلفية مواقفهم، وانخراطهم في المواقع الأمامية لنضالات شعبهم.

ودعا حزب العمال التونسي الشعب التونسي "لمساندة شقيقه السوداني في هذا الظرف الدقيق، الذي تمر به انتفاضته الشعبية الواعدة". وأهاب الحزب العمالي التونسي بكل القوى الثورية والتقدمية في الوطن العربي والعالم، "كي تتضامن مع شعب السودان، ومع هدير ثورته، التي تريد كنس نظام رجعي وظلامي دمّر البلاد، وقسّمها، وكتم أنفاس شعبه طيلة عقود.

وجدد الحزب دعاه بالمجد لشعب السودان والنصر لانتفاضته، وسقوط نظام عمر البشير، طريد العدالة الدولية، الممثّلة في محكمة العدل الدولية (ICC)، وهو من اسوأ الأنظمة العسكرية الديكتاتورية الشمولية (Sudanese Dictatorial Regimes) التي تمر علي السودان. وهتف الحزب العمالي التونسي بسقوط كل الأنظمة الرجعية.
