The Eritrean refugees who came to Denmark either through the UNHCR, or those who came voluntary, or smuggled to Denmark from other countries are all eligible for resettlement status.
This is a serious human issue.
The saying that there is no danger in returning them back isn't justifiable by any means. Refugees are refugees who are protected by international laws set forward in Geneva convention in 1951 and protocol in 1967 concerning the refugees of the world.
The Eritreans shouldn't be subjected to nonsense like that. Denmark is part of Europe and signatory of both the Geneva Convention and the Geneva Protocol. The EU and the European law prohibit refoulement.
