The Hangover!
by Ethiopian Poet, Andualem Ambaye
(Arba Minch, Ethiopia, Horn of Africa)
I tried myself to get ride of it
Toiled from mountain to the down pit
Despite my eager to see it absent
It comes before;wherever rampant
How can I vanish my shameful ashes?
Of the dirty ditch of the rubbish bunches?
IS there a way to sweep memory?
From the flush bulb burying at cemetery?
Let me passover if you have the way
To the hopes of tomorrow neglecting yesterday.
