Could Somaliland reunite with Somalia in the future?
When will attempts to reunite with Somalia happen?

In spite of such democratic example in Somaliland, it is difficult for this part of Somalia to get recognition. If every clan in Somalia gets a chance to form a country, then how many Somali countries could we expect to break off?

This is a question for Somalis to answer, because there is apparently no other person could answer such question.

However, it is no intention here to deny anyone in Somaliland the rights of self-determination. However, the self-determination has well known process to come into forth through entirely run referendum, which is now absent because of the unrest in the other parts of Somalia.

The example of Somaliland is fearful, as many countries in Africa could break off in tribal based small states and then the unity of long survived countries could fall apart.

I would love to read moderate discussions to such topic, so we could enrich our thoughts and come with concrete plans to restore the unity of the big country of Somalia and other similar countries in the African continent.
