Sudanese Refugees in Egypt are Not Allowed to Vote!
The Sudanese refugees in Cairo are not allowed to register for the elections in Sudan.
The Election Commission has decided not to allow any Sudanese in Egypt with a refugee status to register for the coming elections in Sudan.
Statistics say 85% of southern Sudanese in Egypt are political refugees. Besides, great numbers of Sudanese from other regions in Sudan are political refugees too.
That means, the Election Commission already know those people will not vote for the ruling party because they are opponents.
So, the Elections Commission appears to be one of the institutions of the ruling party.
Such regulation will never come from an independent authority like the Election Commission. However, it now clear, that the ruling party made all the laws and the regulations of the commission to win the elections.
The Sudanese opposition should stand firm against this secret formula between the military religious regime and the Election Commission. This is not a national commission any more.
