Omar Hassan Ahmed Al Bashir is the President of Sudan!

by Ameer Salih

I knew Omar Hassan Ahmed Al Bashir is the president of Sudan since 1989. I knew also that he led a successful coup that year to overthrow the weak government of the then Prime Minister Al Sadiq Al Sidiq Abdalrahman Al Mahadi.

Now Omar Hassan Ahmed Al Bashir leads Sudan after the elections and I think the president is going to open for more democracy in the country and that will help the opposition work in good democratic grounds to gain what it lost in the long run for the government seats.

Now is the time to work together to win the coming election. All that the opposition needs is good faith and good programs to help the country out of the conflicts in Darfur and other erupted places in Sudan.

The president Omar Hassan Ahmed al Bashir wants to give them chances to share the government but they refuse continuously. They do not want to share the political power in Sudan. They want the government back to them although they have failed many times while they were governing Sudan.
